Friendship Knots!

Welcome to Friendship Knots!

Hi and welcome! Finally I got around to post. Basically, this is where you find out how to make some really cool bracelets. But not with those directions that you absolutely cannot understand. Or those directions that only have pictures and you don’t know what you’re looking for.┬áThese instructions are really easy. So have fun learning!

Other things

Other blog posts? They can’t only be about patterns of course!

Good color combinations: Want to ever look for a good color combination, but can’t find one? I’ve found a couple that go really well- and some that you should definitely avoid.

Pattern variations: Just one pattern gets really boring. So spice it up a bit! Good ideas where to put beads, combined patterns, and more will make your bracelet stand out among the rest!

Latest Projects! See what I’m making. And I’ll always post where I get them from so you can do yourself if you want!

Hope you love Friendship Knots!

New Page!

Have you ever seen bracelets with a loop on the top? It’s a whole lot easier to tie on your wrist than using two braids on each side!
Now you can make them yourself!
Head on over to Loop Techniques to try three different ways!

Look out for a new tutorial!

I’ve been working on a new bracelet design that I’ve always wanted to do- and I finally got it right! I sense a possible new tutorial coming out soon!
The bracelet design is commonly known as the ‘Wave’, but also takes the name of the Peruvian friendship bracelet. They are very popular around where I live, a bunch of stands in the mall have them and lots of my friends have bought them there (they’re expensive!) So here’s my advice: save seven dollars on a design that’ll only take about 30 minutes (not stopping, of course) to make on your own. Plus, there’s a bonus too because you get to customize it yourself!
Here’s a picture of how mine came out :

Cool, huh? This is simple, even though it looks hard! Even easier than a candy stripe bracelet or even a chinese staircase (tutorial coming on that one, don’t sweat).
Another thing to look out for (drum roll!) : Another chevron pattern! This one will spice up your bracelet!
Until next time!

Introducing the new pattern I’ve been working on for ages

The Heart Friendship Bracelet!

This is a great pattern and is perfect for gifts and Valentine presents (but Valentine’s day is a long time away, so maybe not until Feburary). So go ahead and check it out and tell me what you think! But before you go, make sure you review a couple things first.

  • You’re going to need to know how to make a backward knot. To learn how to make it, take a trip to The Four Knots page!
  • Another really good idea is to do the Chevron pattern before you try out the heart- you are going to be very confused if you don’t!

And one last thing – if you’re ┬ábeginner, don’t start off with this pattern! Try an easier one first. (Like the Candy Stripe)

If you know all of this, then click here to go straight to the new pattern!

That’s all! Have fun knotting!
